Kraft addiction

We all have a favorite colour and mine is blue for sure. But if it comes to scrapping I find myself using kraft all the time. Just love the versatility. I can look classy, playful and more jsut depending on what other materials you use.

I played along with the challenges on SU-per Challenges a few times. A lot less than I wanted but hey, sometimes life just gets in the way.  Looking for something to scrap I was on their blog and saw they are stopping. Too bad, loved their challenges and sketches. But then again, I do know how much time it takes to keep a site going. Runnig Let's Scrap was sometimes more than just a hobby.....

So I am participating in one of their last challenges...... sad to see you girls go......

This is the sketch they provided:

And this is what I made with it:

Materials used:

Paris by night

In May 2014 I got to spent five days with my dear son in Paris. We had an amazing time, Saw a lot and did see and do so many things. Scrapping these pics makes me realize that we need to plan another city trip.

The pics are from the Eifel Tower by night. An amazing piece of architecture. A tower that was dreaded by many Parisians. They even handed a petition to the city to take it down. They said it was monstrous...... It actually got saved by radio. Eifel, who designed it, got 20 years for the twoer in the city before it was going to be used as scrap metal.  In those 20 years the Eifel Tower was used as an antenna for the different radio stations.  By the time those 20 years were over the city decided it was a very cheap way to keep the radio going and it got never taken down for scrap metal.

This is what I made:

 Materials used:

Stickers: SEI
Washi strips: Studio Calico
Die cut: Crate Paper, Elle's Studio
Enamel dots: Studio Calico
Misc: Date stamp

Teenager photographs

Scrapped again. We all know how teenagers are when it comes to taking photo's.  They either want to pose with one of those stupid duck faces or do not want to be on it at all.  In the fall of 2014 my dear son went to London with his friend Fay and her mom. Unfortunately I was not able to join them.  They did not spend a whole lot of days there but they had a blast and came home with some great photo's.  A few of them showed the teenagers in them and I finally scrapped them....

Here's the final result:

Materials used:

Patterned paper: Studio Calico, American Crafts
Embellishments: Crate Paper, K&Company
Tape: K&Company
Misc: Washi Tape, black pen

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of the week!
