Joram wil heel erg graag op turnen. Ik heb altijd al gezegd: Joram is geen jongetje om te gaan voetballen: Hij bukt zich om klavertjes te gaan zoeken in het gras en laat dan de bal gewoon zijn gang gaan! Hij was er achter gekomen dat Nienke uit zijn klas ook op turnen zit en had samen met haar geregeld dat hij mee mocht voor een proefles. En gisteren ging dat gebeuren. Joram was zenuwachtig: 'Mama, als ze nu alleen maar moeilijke dingen doen en ik kan het niet?'Joram heeft een leuke les gehad maar kwam zelf ook al tot de conclusie dat hij op deze lessen niets zal kunnen leren. In de loop der tijd heeft hij al heel veel dingen zelf geleerd: Radslag, handstand, bruggetje en allerlei hele enge capriolen aan de rekstok. We gaan nu eens kijken bij PSV (niet het voetbal dus, maar het turnen) of hij daar terecht kan. Wordt vervolgd............
Joram is begging to do gymnastics. I have always said: Joram is not a boy to play soccer. He is someone who will look for clovers in the grass and let the ball pass. He found out that Nienke from his class is doing gymnastics and he arranged that he could come with her and do a try out lesson. And yesterday was the day. Joram was nervous: 'Mommy, what if they do all complicated things and I won't be able to do them?'
Joram had a fun lesson but he also figured out that these kinds of lessons won't learn him anything new. During the last couple of months he tought himself lots of things. Cart wheels and all kinds of scary moves on the horizontal bars. We are now looking in to going to PSV (gymnastics, not soccer) to see if he can join there. To be continued.......
